This book was the classic “nothing happened” third in the trilogy。 Hopefully the story will get back o track on book 4 Rating: PG-13 but less language than book 2。

That was great。 I love the dialogue。 Colin and Piper are hilarious。 I love Blue and her sassy come backs。 Thought I have to say some of the descriptive stuff and vagueness aka magic gets confusing sometimes。 I’m also a little disappointed that there wasn’t any more Ronan/Adam or Gansey/Blue progress。 Idk if it’s the language or the storyline but everything feels so vivid I can imagine every scene precisely。

4。25/5 starsI loved the way the character development took place。 I also loved the plot twists in this book。 This book also showed the progress of relationship between Gansey and Blue via midnight calls!! It also foreshadowed Adam and Ronan's tension and they started spending time together。 I am kinda worried about Noah's sudden behaviour。 Gansey was worried about the future after finding Glendower。 I also loved that Ronan and Blue had more interactions。Loved the cliffhanger at the end !! 4。25/5 starsI loved the way the character development took place。 I also loved the plot twists in this book。 This book also showed the progress of relationship between Gansey and Blue via midnight calls!! Blue Lily, Lily Blue is DEFINITELY my favorite book of the quartet so far。 It’s not that great that I’m binging this series instead of reading the books I checked out from my library, but ignore that。Blue Lily, Lily Blue follows Blue Sargent in the third installment of the series and her raven boys: Gansey, Adam, Ronan, and Noah。 We start right where the second book left off, and I love it。this book has everything I wanted in a Raven Cycle book。 I got the Bluesey moments。 The beginnings of Adam Blue Lily, Lily Blue is DEFINITELY my favorite book of the quartet so far。 It’s not that great that I’m binging this series instead of reading the books I checked out from my library, but ignore that。Blue Lily, Lily Blue follows Blue Sargent in the third installment of the series and her raven boys: Gansey, Adam, Ronan, and Noah。 We start right where the second book left off, and I love it。this book has everything I wanted in a Raven Cycle book。 I got the Bluesey moments。 The beginnings of Adam and Ronan。 Noah! Henry! The women of Fox Way! The setting of small-town Henrietta! The Gray Man! PIPER。 Banter! Etc, etc。 First and foremostly: I loved the strong emphasis on Adam in this book。 If book one was for Gansey, book two for Ronan, then book three was for Adam and his MAJOR growth and character arc in this book。The plot was so good。 I wanted to keep reading on and on。 For some things I think the Dream Thieves did better, like with the plot, but Blue Lily, Lily Blue comes in a close second。 It perfectly incorporated all the elements I wanted in a plot, and I really enjoyed the adventure。Normally, I wouldn’t usually enjoy urban fantasies, but there’s just something about the Raven Cycle that has turned it into one of my all time favorite series。 It is so different from other YA books, especially for the time period that it was written in, and so unique。 Blue Lily, Lily Blue especially dives into that Welsh mythology, with a lot more world-building done in this book than in past ones。We didn’t have as much of a focus on the magic as in the last book, but I didn’t mind that as much。 The descriptions and scenery were BEAUTIFUL。 The places we go in Henrietta, oh how I wish I could go (is Henrietta an actual town?) there。 Stiefvater’s writing, of course, is so stunningly written。 I feel like I’m in Henrietta while reading the entire book, especially with those character moments (Midnight Camaro Bluesey scene is one of my favorite romantic scenes I’ve ever read in a book before, and no I will not elaborate on that :D)。 I felt everything the characters were feeling。 It’s brilliant。The characters are what made the Raven Cycle the Raven Cycle。 It’s very rare that I love every single character in a book series so much, but the Blue Lily, Lily Blue characters captured my heart。Blue- I love my short feminist queen。 Blue is everything I love and want in a protagonist。 Gansey- Gansey is the perfect man。 He can do very rarely any wrong。 I’m in love with Gansey。 Adam- Adam gets on my nerves sometimes, but I love him。 Adam needs to be protected under any and all costs。Ronan- I wished we got Ronan’s POV in this book, but I still love him all the same。 Plus, his power is literally the coolest thing ever。Noah- my innocent baby who loves to reenact his death scene。 I love Noah :) Henry- we got like two scenes from him but he’s so funny。 I NEED to see Henry way more in the next book, or I will throw hands。Calla, Mr。 Gray, Persephone, Maura- one of the only adult groups in a YA book that I actually love just as much as the protagonists themselves。 Piper- I loved her character。 I’m not supposed to probably like her but I do。As for the rep, I don’t have anything to say other than FINALLY a confirmed character of color! It felt a little bit like tokenization, so I’m not very happy with that。 Also Adam x Ronan is perfect and their slow burn gives me the same serotonin as Bluesey does。Speaking of Bluesey THEYRE LITERALLY MY OTP I’ve been reading three books of the longest slow burn of a single couple I’ve seen and I love it。 They’re perfect。Overall, Blue Lily, Lily Blue is my favorite book so far in the quartet (with Dream Thieves coming in a close second hehe), and though I haven’t seen too many people say this is their favorite, it certainly is mine。The Raven Cycle and it’s characters all give me happiness。 I love this quartet (probably a new comfort and favorite series)。 I recommend to all! It’s so unique and in my opinion, lives up to the hype。 Though it may not be for everyone, though, so be aware of that :)1。 The Raven Boys- 4。5 stars2。 The Dream Thieves- 4。5 stars3。 Blue Lily, Lily Blue- 5 stars5 stars!!!! I can’t contain my excitement to read The Raven King as soon as possible :D 。。。more

*slight spoilers mention of moments but not main things that happen :) Well I’m not sure what to say。 I love this book series for starters as I feel like there always something interesting going on even though they still have to deal with “real life things。” I love the way each character gets a moment and how there are where I’m begging them to stop。 I love the subtle and stunning moments between Blue and Gansey。 I cried a lot it might be that I’m just soppy but the thought of Gansey dying just *slight spoilers mention of moments but not main things that happen :) Well I’m not sure what to say。 I love this book series for starters as I feel like there always something interesting going on even though they still have to deal with “real life things。” I love the way each character gets a moment and how there are where I’m begging them to stop。 I love the subtle and stunning moments between Blue and Gansey。 I cried a lot it might be that I’m just soppy but the thought of Gansey dying just made the book seem so powerful。 I kept thinking they could die, they could all die at any moment。 It also hit home with the feeling like Gansey didn’t know what to do once it was all over。 And how blue was so angry at her mother for leaving。 I felt there pain on another level。 I also loved the moment near the end with Ronan and Blue the way they act like they don’t like each other but actually they do。 Ronan is so protective。 I enjoyed this book (however it might be that I was rushing to finish it) I found that I was wanting more。 How did Adam get out? Where was Gansey? The ending for me was just a tiny bit rushed。 Just one more small chapter would do it。 But the epilogue (chefs kiss) was such an unexpected moment。 I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happens next。 。。。more

In some ways I liked this book better than the first two, but for some reason I also read it much slower。 It would be really interesting for a while and then hit a certain point and for some reason I would get bored or something, put it down, and not pick it back up again for a day or two。 Otherwise I quite enjoyed this book! I’ll just leave you with this glorious quote from Calla that I really enjoyed, hope happens to these lovely characters, and will use in the future when the opportunity arises: “And we all live happily the damn ever after!” 。。。more

That was one of the most amazing readings。 The way i could feel as one of the raven boys, the author got her way to structure the story。 It felt like a fairytale it gave me dark academia vibes and it had the perfect balanced romance that I like。 Talking about characters; it was so real, so pure, Adam got to this deserved state of mind that he always needed, and we all know his story is not even closed; yet-- Ronan made me feel anger, passion, fear。。。 with this nightmares of his。 Gansey was a kin That was one of the most amazing readings。 The way i could feel as one of the raven boys, the author got her way to structure the story。 It felt like a fairytale it gave me dark academia vibes and it had the perfect balanced romance that I like。 Talking about characters; it was so real, so pure, Adam got to this deserved state of mind that he always needed, and we all know his story is not even closed; yet-- Ronan made me feel anger, passion, fear。。。 with this nightmares of his。 Gansey was a king for sure, the ligth。 Noah made me shiver sometimes and Blue, Blue was the power。 This book was almost entirley hers。 And I am not disappointed。 The places, the magic, the Latin! the math about the perfect matching of the rules that tell us about numbers and things, the dream creatures, the villains and the friends, all of them made me feel all of kind of things in a way that just art can do。 Just Lovely。 。。。more

I hate Maggie Stiefvater for making me finish the entire series。 I have long grown bored of the main plot line of the Raven cycle series (finding Gwendower, the ley lines, Cabeswater etc), but she manages to keep me hooked with Adam & Ronan's abilities and Blue's family。 As with the previous two books I often found myself a little bored, but the closer we got to the end the more I got into the story。 To the authors defense, it might also be because I'm forcing myself to push through and finish t I hate Maggie Stiefvater for making me finish the entire series。 I have long grown bored of the main plot line of the Raven cycle series (finding Gwendower, the ley lines, Cabeswater etc), but she manages to keep me hooked with Adam & Ronan's abilities and Blue's family。 As with the previous two books I often found myself a little bored, but the closer we got to the end the more I got into the story。 To the authors defense, it might also be because I'm forcing myself to push through and finish the series without any kind of break to read something else。 One of my critiques in the last book was that the romance between Blue & Gansey was unconvincing and didn’t make me feel anything。 I'll admit that this was much better in this book。 Little moments throughout the book that were, not cute but something idk。 I still hate that he calls her Jane。。。This review messy as hell but it's for me, not for you。 I've finally reached the last book in the series, before I can finally be released from the raven cycle。 Definitely will be staying away from book series for a while。 。。。more
